Dr. Cassia Read
Plant ecologist, writer, educator and garden designer, Cassia is dedicated to regenerating urban landscapes and communities through beautiful, resilient and biodiverse gardens. With a doctorate in plant community ecology, she has worked and studied with some of the best applied and quantitative ecologists in the business. Cassia is a passionate educator, and regularly presents talks, workshops and bush-based activities. Since co-founding Emerging Landscapes, she has been designing residential and community gardens, writing, and seeding community projects. Cassia is also a co-founder of the Castlemaine Institute.
